New Jersey Supreme Court

The Supreme Court of New Jersey established the Board on Attorney Certification in 1980 “for the purpose of helping consumers find attorneys who have a recognized level of competence in particular fields of law.” It is a distinction held by less than 1% of attorneys statewide. Our firm has twelve attorneys who have earned their Civil Trial Certification (Richard Levinson, Mark Kuminski, Adam Rothenberg, Brett Greiner, Kimberley Gozsa, Michael Fusco, Robert Cook, Patrick Flinn, Kathleen DiGiovanni, Ronald Grayzel, James Dunn and Jefferson Barnes). Three of our attorneys have earned the Workers’ Compensation Law Certification (Richard Marcolus, Todd Wachtel, and Patrick Caulfield). 80 Years of Service

Levinson Axelrod, P.A. was founded by Jacob Levinson on September 1, 1939 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. Since that time, the firm has grown to 9 offices with 25 attorneys and nearly 100 employees. We recognize our heritage by updating our years of service badge every half decade. We will celebrate our 85^th anniversary in 2024.

Top Verdict conducts an annual survey of the Top 100 Jury Verdicts in New Jersey based upon public data and publishes a ranking of those verdicts based upon their research. In 2019, the last year a list was compiled prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, Levinson Axelrod, P.A. attorneys had four of the Top 100 verdicts in New Jersey - #13 (Kimberly Gozsa, $3,225,580), #48 (Michael Fusco, $626,300), #49 (Adam Rothenberg, $600,000) and #79 (tie, Mark Kuminski, $160,000).
