As of May 4, 2022, grocery stores, retailers, and food service business in New Jersey may no longer provide or sell single-use plastic carryout bags and foam food service products. The new law is a major shift toward embracing more sustainable packaging and reducing microplastic litter that negatively impacts our environment and local wildlife.

At Levinson Axelrod, P.A., our team is proud to support this new initiative, which will make New Jersey a cleaner and healthier place to live. We have also made new branded reusable shopping bags which we are now giving away to anyone who wants them! You do not have to be a client to get a bag.

If you would like to pick up a free reusable bag, please call your local Levinson Axelrod, P.A. office to set up a time to stop by. One bag per person limit. You can find the contact information for your local Levinson Axelrod office below:

Our team at Levinson Axelrod, P.A. is happy to support this initiative and our neighbors. As a firm that’s fought for residents across New Jersey in cases involving motor vehicle accidents, serious personal injury, and workers’ compensation since 1939, we are always interested in helping make our state safer and giving back to the communities who have trusted us all these years.
