Before pursuing a career in law, and working his way through the ranks at Levinson Axelrod, P.A., Matt studied Environmental Policy and became acutely aware of how laws directly impact the health and safety of citizens. He also worked as an insurance adjuster – a unique background that’s been of great importance to his representation of the injured.

Having worked for one of the largest insurance carriers in the world, Matt now leverages his experience for the benefit of our clients, many of whom face off against powerful corporations keen on escaping liability, as well as often unrelenting insurance companies focused on paying victims as little as they can. His insight into complex matters of insurance, coverage, and calculated risk assessment is a rare differentiator that sets him apart in and out of the courtroom.

In 2004, he graduated from Seton Hall and passed the New Jersey State Bar. Now an associate at the firm, Matt is particularly excellent when it comes to brief writing. In addition to his own practice of law, he often works with all of our team helping prepare effective cases for trial.
