Levinson Axelrod, P.A. is pleased to announce that Partner Adam L. Rothenberg has been appointed as a Chairperson of the Civil Certification Committee for the NJ Supreme Court Board on Attorney Certification.
Adam was appointed Committee Chair by Chief Justice Rabner and will serve in this post through 2022. He will also continue to serve as a member of the Board on Attorney Certification during that term.
The Board on Attorney Certification was established by the Supreme Court of New Jersey to help consumers find attorneys who have attained a recognized level of competency in their areas of practice. The Board administers the state’s attorney certification program through various committees that focus on a particular field of law.
As Civil Certification Committee Chair, Adam will lead the committee in vetting applicants seeking certification as a Civil Trial Specialist, creating and grading required examinations, and ultimately determining who becomes certified.
An appointment as a Committee Chair for the Board on Attorney Certification is a significant honor that speaks to the respect and esteem Adam has garnered from his peers, as well as his own competency in civil practice as a Certified Civil Trial Specialist for over 15 years. His work as Committee Chair will also benefit legal consumers across New Jersey in their search for highly qualified civil attorneys.
