As noted in court records, Rich and Celine representing two surviving children of a worker who died from a heart attack after undergoing authorized neck surgery.

In pursuing a fair recovery for their clients, Rich and Celine faced opposition from the defense. This included efforts by the workers’ compensation insurance carrier to hire experts who argued that the worker’s heart attack was caused by his smoking history and was not the result of complications from the authorized neck surgery.

Despite being a heavily contested claim that necessitated extensive settlement negotiations, Rich and Celine were ultimately able to secure a significant recovery for the worker’s two minor children totaling $350,000.
