Benjamin J. Katz is an Associate at Levinson Axelrod, P.A. who represents clients across Middlesex County and surrounding communities from our Edison office. Benjamin focuses his practice on helping victims and families in claims involving auto accidents, premises liability, and personal injury.
Prior to joining Levinson Axelrod, Benjamin worked as an Associate and Law Clerk for a criminal defense practice in New Brunswick where he gained invaluable experience developing pretrial and trial strategy for serious cases. He applies the same dedication to preparing claims for personal injury victims whose futures, similar to those of criminal defendants, often depend on a fair and successful resolution of their case.
Benjamin attended Rutgers University and Rutgers Law School, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in History cum laude and his Juris Doctor (J.D.).
While attending law school, Benjamin served as President of the Health Law Society, Senior Editor of the Rutgers Journal of Law & Public Policy, and Student Advocate for the Rutgers Expungement Law Clinic. He interned for general counsel to Thomas Jefferson and Cooper University Hospitals assisting attorneys in matters of health care law and for Judge Jeanne Covert in New Jersey Vicinage 3 Superior Court. Benjamin has also volunteered at community health centers with Philadelphia Legal Services helping clients apply for health care benefits.
Benjamin is a passionate advocate who believes in prioritizing personal attention and communication. He is licensed to practice in New Jersey and New York.
