Can I re-open a case after it has settled?

In most situations, you cannot re-open a case once it has settled. Thus, your case should be handled by the most knowledgeable and professional of individuals. It is important that you be patient and reasonably certain that you understand the extent of your injuries before you settle. In the case of a child under eighteen years of age, a judge must approve any settlement. Once the case has settled it is generally concluded forever.
