A 22-year-old man from Florida was recently arrested on an aggravated child abuse charge for causing the brain injury of 3-month-old baby.
According to reports, the man was driving with the baby in a car seat. The baby began to cry, and the man roughly shook the infant for about ten minutes in order to get him to stop crying. While doing so, the infant’s head hit the back of the car seat. The man called 911 after the baby lost consciousness.
The baby is currently in a vegetative state and is being taken care of in a foster home for disabled children. The man’s relationship to the baby has not been indentified.
