Three Injured in Harlem Traffic Accident

Three people were injured Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle accident near Harlem. The accident occurred near the 125th exit, on the West Side Highway, and was so severe that it backed up traffic all the way into New Jersey. Emergency responders were quick to the site and took three people to the hospital for treatment. It was hours before the crash site was cleared and traffic could get through again.

13 Commuters Injured in New Jersey PATH Accident

Thirteen New Jersey commuters were injured in a PATH train accident when the vehicle didn’t stop in time at the 33rd Street Station near Hearld Square, overshot its final stop, and hit the barrier. According to Harbor Authority, of the 13 people injured in the accident, seven of them, including two crew members, were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.
It is not yet known what caused the train to skip its stop. There were around 450 passengers on the train, and between 60 and 80 fire fighters responded to the scene.
