Police officers in Seattle discovered that two men were illegally driving a semi-truck while under the influence of alcohol when they responded to calls that the semi-truck had crashed into a barrier on I-90.
The incident occurred at 3:30 a.m. According to reports, two men, who did not have commercial drivers licenses, allegedly stole or borrowed a semi-truck and began a joy ride around Seattle. The two men first crashed into the barrier on I-90 when they were traveling westbound. The crash caused a flat tire on the truck and damaged a fuel tank. The men then drove the truck into a neighborhood where the truck did significant damage to the paved roads.
When officers caught up to the men, they found that they were under the influence of alcohol and had illegally driven the truck without a license. They are currently under the custody of police officers.
