Police officer injured in Rutherford car crash

A police officer and another man were both seriously injured in a car crash that occured in Rutherford on Route 17 on Thursday.
According to reports, the officer was responding to a call and traveling east on Route 17, when a driver in a Subaru, traveling north on the road, collided into the officer. The cars hit each other twice during the accident before both spinning out of control. Despite his serious injuries, the officer was able to help the other driver out of his car and call for help.
Both men were taken to Hackensack University Medical Center and were said to be in stable condition. Investigations into the accident are still under way.

Giants’ player and wife involved in car crash

A defensive end for the Giants, Justin Tuck, and his wife were involved in a car crash but were able to escape serious injury.
The accident occurred around 4 p.m. in Teaneck and has been described as a fender bender by officials and one other motorist was involved.
All persons that were in the car accident were able to walk away from the accident with one minor injuries. Tuck will still be able to travel with the team to the next game.
