N.J. construction worker injured in accident

Posted on Wednesday, March 24th, 2010 at 1:24 pm

A construction worker from New Jersey is being hospitalized after a construction accident in Delaware.

Officials said that the 35-year-old man was repairing a hole when a coworker was trying to attach a bucket to a backhoe. The bucket then slid down the hole after the ground gave way under the weight and trapped the man in the hole. His coworkers and a rescue team were able to get the man out of the steep hole. The man was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
