David T. Wheaton - PARTNER
David Wheaton attended Brown University in Providence, R.I. and graduated in 1964. While at Brown University, David was a varsity soccer player on a team that achieved substantial success and a competitive sailor on a team that did not. Thereafter, David attended Georgetown Law School in Washington, D.C and graduated in 1967. David has been with Levinson Axelrod since 1968 to the present. In 1982, the Supreme Court of the State of New Jersey designated David as a Certified Civil Trial Attorney. David has continuously been re-certified by the Supreme Court as a Certified Civil Trial Attorney. This certification is only given to lawyers who have demonstrated their ability to successfully handle claims involving personal injuries to their clients. David’s practice is limited to personal injury claims involving automobile accidents, fall downs, premises liability and claims against other professionals including lawyers and doctors. Two of David’s most distinguished cases involved claims against a Church and a Church School for harmful abuse to a parishioner and a student. David has achieved million dollar case results in Hudson County, Middlesex County, Burlington County, Monmouth County and Ocean County and is an honored member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
David limits his practice to Monmouth County, Ocean County, Burlington County and Atlantic County through offices that are located in Middletown, New Jersey, Howell, New Jersey and Forked River New Jersey. David is an avid yachtsman and can been seen on the coastal waters of New Jersey in his 38 foot Saber Line hardtop express. He is married, has 4 children and lives in Monmouth County.
