Tara L. Johnson - ASSOCIATE
Tara received her B.A. from Monmouth University in 1996, and her law degree from Widener University School of Law in 1999. She was admitted to the New Jersey Bar the following year. Before joining the firm, she was an Assistant Prosecutor at the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office. A highlight of her tenure there is marked by a published New Jersey Supreme Court opinion involving a jurisdictional question in cases of domestic violence, in addition to several other published opinions.
Tara is an active member of the Somerset County Bar Association, and has held the position of the Co-Chair of the Young Lawyer’s Division since 2004. Also, she is a Board Member of the Somerset County Foundation Committee, which makes up the charitable arm of the Somerset County Bar Association. She also participates in various running/walking events annually, raising funds for local and national charities, and serves as a volunteer for the Literacy Volunteers of America in Somerset County. Tara rises to the challenge of representing those people of the community who have been injured, and is proud to be a member of the firm.
