EXPERTS
An expert is a person who has special knowledge in a particular field due to their education and/or experience. Lawyers have to use experts in all types of cases.
There are experts in every field imaginable. For example, there are medical, construction, accounting, engineering, and design experts. These experts are used by attorneys to establish a certain principle or standard in a case.
For example, if you are trying to prove that a particular product is defective, your lawyer would have to hire and expert who is familiar with the product who would help establish how the product is defective and why.
Experts are very expensive, but very few, if any cases can be proved without their participation.
