Two American Bulldogs attacked five neighborhood children in New Jersey on Dec. 23.
The bulldogs escaped from their owner’s backyard. The four children, between the ages of 9-12, ran were playing outside of their house when they saw the dogs. They were frightened and ran inside of the house. The dogs managed to get in.
A 14-year-old brother to some of the children, heard the screaming and ran to the living room and began to push the dogs out with a shovel. He pushed them away until their owners came. He suffered multiple puncture wounds on his hands and legs. The owner of the dogs, handed them over to authorities and they were both euthanized.

At 5:45 a.m. on Dec. 23, the driver of a tractor-trailer drove an embankment on the New Jersey Turnpike and ended up in a creek.
The accident occurred on the northbound side of the turnpike between Exit 4 and 5. Rescue crews and police spent over two hours trying to free the truck driver from his wrecked truck which was partially submerged. The wreck caused many lanes of the turnpike to close and traffic to back up.
The driver was air lifted to a nearby hospital.

A 67-year-old woman suffering from Alzheimer’s disease caused the accident when she stopping in the middle of a high-speed lane.
She was then struck by other vehicles and her car burst at the scene. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident happened in the New Jersey Turnpike police officials said.
The occupants of a tractor- trailer rig, all suffered minor injuries.

A driver struck a cyclist Nov. 16 in New Jersey, after being distracted while texting.
The accident occurred on Route 70. Police reported the the female cyclist suffered multiple fractures due to theĀ crash and she was wearing protective gear when struck by the car.
Prescription pills prescribed to someone else were found in the driver’s car. He was charged with intent to distribute the drugs. In New Jersey, texting while driving is illegal. Charges are still pending regarding the personal injury.

An elderly woman suffering from Alzheimer’s disease died in a fiery car accident on the New Jersey Turnpike this morning. Several vehicles were involved in the accident.
According to reports, the woman parked her car in the left-hand lane of the southbound Turnpike at 6 in the morning and turned off her lights. Although police were looking for the elderly woman, but were unable to find her before the tragic accident occurred, killing her at the scene. Fortunately, no one else was injured.
It is unclear if any charges will be pressed.
